4th National Level Drawing Competition - 2016


Harmony Arts gives a platform to students by encouraging and promoting art activities, cultivating their talent, respecting creativity and exhibiting them.  We are pleased that our academy has been the pioneer in Thane, Maharashtra in conducting prestigious National Level Drawing Competition for school and college going students acknowledging their painting skills and awarding the best ones.  The selected painting of the students are displayed on our official blog.

We get enthusiastic response and support from schools by their active participation.  This inspires us to conduct similar art activities every year.  A number of schools are putting in special efforts in preparing their students for the competition, which is evident from the quality and creativity of the entries received by us.

We at Harmony Arts have always encouraged the artist within the child to grow and stimulate all the senses in co-ordination to express freely and enjoy the aesthetics.

4th National Level Drawing Competition

Drawing Competition Details :

Eligibility :

Competition is open to all Schools / Institutions / Art Academy / Drawing Class. Each organization should send minimum 25 entries, there is no limit to maximum entries. Individual entries will not be accepted.

The competition is for students in the respective groups.

Size of Drawing Paper :

11" X 15" (eleven inches X fifteen inches) approx.  Drawing should be on drawing sheet, handmade paper, Indian T.K. or cartridge paper only.

Medium :

The artwork / painting can be made in following medium :  pencil, sketch pens, crayons, oil pastels, water colour or poster colour.

Topics :

Student may select any one topic for one artwork or painting suitable for their age and group.  Student can submit maximum five artworks for competition.

Entry fee :

Rs. 100/- for each artwork / painting.  Each student can submit maximum five artworks.
Schools / Institutions / Art Academy / Drawing Class may deduct 15% amount as a administrating charges from total amount of entry fees and send us the remaining amount.
Download the below Participation Form, fill the information, save the file to your school name and mail us on or before 15th October 2016.
The parcel of artworks should reach us on or before 25th November 2016.

How to send the entry fees :

Judges :

A panel of art teachers / eminent artists will judge the entries.  Decision of the judges is final and binding.

Awards and prizes :

All participants will receive a certificate.
Students whose artwork is select will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
The selected artworks will exhibited on the official blog of the center.
The best three entries in each group will be awarded a Trophy and Certificate.
Harmony Arts will felicitate the school / academy who submit more than 300 entries.
The Best Art Teacher Award will be given to the teacher who submits more than 200 entries from his / her school.

Competition rules and regulations :

For Students :

Participants has to do his / her artwork from home or school and send us through the school.
The entries must be original and should not be a reproduction of the other media.
The works aided by parents or other person, will be rejected.
Do not frame or mount the artwork or paste anything behind them.  Do not laminate the artwork.
Participants should write the full name, standard, division, contact no, email ID, school name with address on the backside of every artwork.

For Teacher :

Please collect all the artworks of the students and send us as one parcel.  Parcel of entries should be packed properly.
The parcel can be sent by registered / speed post / courier / by hand only.
The parcel should contain the following 
a)  Artworks
b)  School participation form
c)  Participant's list
along with a covering letter. 
The parcel of artworks should reach us on or before 25th November 2016
All correspondence must be in English / Hindi / Marathi.
The paintings without entry fee / insufficient entry fee will not be accepted.
The center reserves the right to retain all entries sent to the competition and the same will not be returned to the students / schools / parents.
The Center will not be responsible for the damage / loss during transportation.
Participants should send entries at their own risk.



4th National Level Drawing Competition - 2016

Result :

The result of the competition will be displayed on our official blog www.harmonyarts.blogspot.com on 15th December 2016.

Art Exhibition :


The exhibition of the selected artworks from drawing competition - 2016 will be held on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th December - 2016.

Venue : Thane Kala Bhavan Art Gallery, Near High Street Mall, Kapur Baudi, Majiwade Junction, Thane - West.


Dispatch of prizes :

Certificates, trophies or medals will be sent along with the receipt of entry fees by courier to the address of respective Schools / Institute / Art Academy / Drawing Class within 15 days from the last date of exhibition.
